FAQ

Do you have private lessons?

Yes, private lessons of 1 hour each are available separate from our regular classes.

A private one-to-one lesson is a great way to start your training and introduction to Wing Chun.

If you already have Wing Chun experience, a private lesson working on specific aspects of the first Wing Chun form, or focusing on Chi Sau (Sticking Hands), would be beneficial. Call us to book in a time.

Do you have Women only classes?

Yes.  Please contact us to organise a time for a one hour lesson.

Can my family come and learn in a group lesson?

Yes, a family group lesson is a great way for all family members to participate in an activity.

We can organise a one hour family group lesson to suit you.

How long will it take me to learn Wing Chun?

You can train Wing Chun for a lifetime, but you can achieve noticeable results in 12 months.

Initially, we recommend at least 3 months of regular weekly training, learning the Sil Lim Tao form, gaining a good foundation with your stance and structure, and learning some basic Wing Chun techniques, which should give you a good introduction to Wing Chun.

If you are serious about your training and really wish to learn the theory and practical skills of Wing Chun, we would recommend you train regularly every week for at least 12 months.

What to wear?

  • Comfortable clothing - shorts or long pants & t-shirt
  • Kung fu slippers/soft flat rubber-soled shoes or martial arts shoes are best; running shoes ok to start
